  3. Trying to upgrade from Quicken Deluxe 2010 to Quicken Deluxe 2016. It gets to “Performing Final Conversion Steps . . .” stays there for several minutes, then disappears from the screen. Tried website – did not help.

    1. Please check if you have the required system requirements for Quicken Deluxe 2016
      Computer: 1 GHz or higher.
      Operating System: Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit)/Windows 8 & 8.1 (32- and 64-bit)/Windows 10 (32- and 64-bit)
      Memory: 1 GB or higher.
      Hard Disk Space: Up to 450 MB free space, up to 1.5 GB if .NET not installed.
      Monitor: 1024×768 or higher resolution; 1280×1024 for large fonts.

      Still not able to pass the last step. Try to remove older version Quicken Deluxe 2010 first then reboot your machine, and then install 2016. You will be able to pass the final conversion step. Also do not open back up file directly, When quicken is installed go to Open and then select back up to open.

    1. If you are getting this message email address is already taken, it is because your email was used previously to create an account with quicken. The easiest resolution to this problem is create quicken/intuit account with a new email Id.

  4. I’ve been on hold for 37 minutes & cant seem to get to chat .. I followed instructions from Intuit (not quicken) and now have a new password for one step update but can only open Quicken with the old password … HELP
    This conversion seems to be one large cluster muck

    1. Did you tried to reboot your computer and try to do the same step again. Sometimes server needs to get updated if the user if live. Please reboot your machine and it will work for you this time.

  5. I updated my Quicken software and made the transition out of Intuit. Now when I run “1 step update” payments do not change from “send” to “sent”.

  7. I have completed all steps to configure my data file to the new quicken program (10/1/17 change). When truing tp open my quicken file I am asked to crate a new account per the update steps I have already completed. Why?

    1. Sometimes your windows keep temporary files and some other information which creates problem in the new update try to remove quicken completely from your machine or try some removal tool ( Clean Registry ). You can also use quicken removal tool to get this fixed. Do reply if you get this issue resolved. Thanks
